San Diego Goth – All-Ages Safety & Culture Guidelines

Eternal Night is a space for expression, music, and individuality. We are committed to building a scene that is safe, creative, and respectful for everyone—especially our younger community.

1. Respect is Non-Negotiable – Treat everyone with dignity—no harassment, intimidation, or unwanted attention. No sexual comments, gestures, or behavior toward anyone—especially minors. “No” is final. Silence is not consent.

2. Zero Tolerance for Predatory Behavior – Any behavior that targets younger attendees in a sexual, manipulative, or exploitative way will result in immediate removal. This includes grooming behavior, persistent unwanted interaction, or isolating individuals. If you make someone feel unsafe, you don’t belong here.

3. Age Awareness & Boundaries – This is an all-ages space. Act accordingly. Adults are expected to maintain clear, appropriate boundaries with minors at all times. No exchanging personal contact with minors in a suggestive or inappropriate context.

4. Consent & Personal Space – Always ask before physical contact (including dancing close, touching, photos). Respect personal space—everyone expresses themselves differently. No filming or photographing minors without clear permission.

5. Look Out for Each Other – If you see something off, say something—to staff or security. Support others if they seem uncomfortable or unsafe. We are a community, not just a crowd.

6. Substance & Safety – No drugs, alcohol, or substances permitted for minors. Do not offer or encourage substance use to anyone underage. Stay aware of your surroundings and your limits.

7. Creative Freedom, Not Exploitation – Goth, industrial, and alternative culture are about self-expression, art, and identity—not fetishization. Respect the scene. People are not aesthetics to consume. Celebrate individuality without objectifying others.

8. Inclusive & Supportive Environment – No discrimination based on age, gender, identity, race, or expression. Everyone deserves to feel welcome and safe being themselves.

9. Staff Are Here to Help – Venue staff and security are trained to handle concerns seriously and discreetly. If you feel unsafe for any reason, come to us immediately—we will act. 🕯️ Our Culture Eternal Night exists to give people—especially young creatives—a place to explore who they are through music, art, and connection. Be bold. Be different. Be respectful. Protect the space so it can protect you.
